Rihanna has apparently confessed that she is completely smitten with movie star Josh Hartnett.

The 19-year-old songstress, who rocked the charts this summer with her hit Umbrella, spilled the beans on her budding relationship with the Pearl Harbour star at the World Music Awards in Monaco this weekend, reports the Daily Mirror.

Rihanna’s representative has denied reports of a romance between the popstar and actor Josh Hartnett - despite a photo that shows the pair enjoying a night out together at New York’s Pink Elephant on Friday (October 12).

Rihanna and Hartnett co-hosted MTV’s TRL on Friday, where they met for the first time, and hit the town after filming ended on the live TV broadcast.

The photo, which shows the singer stroking the ‘Pearl Harbor’ star’s face, was instant fodder for gossip sites and tabloids who peddled stories of a blossoming relationship.

R&B beauty Rihanna has laughed off reports she is dating Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf.

The Umbrella hitmaker, 19, was photographed dining with the Transformer actor, 21, at a Beverly Hills, California eaterie on Tuesday, prompting speculation the pair were dating.

Rihanna says: “Me and Shia, we are just friends, you know, we barely even know each other.”

The Barbados-born singer has also denied she is dating former B2K star Omarion, declaring: “Not at all.”
